Variant: Recon

Other Name: Recon Armor, Recon

Devloped alongside the S vairant armor, Recon Armor is aloso designed for stealth missions without losing endurance. The main ways it achieves this are by reducing its infared signature, reflective surfaces, and Cherenkov electromagnetic emissions.

Variant: Security

This variant of the Mark V armor was created at the Misriah Armory on Mars in 2543 CE, one year after the Mark V started production.

Variant: C.Q.B.

Other Name: Close Quarters Battle Armor

A variant of the Mark IV armor, C variant is designed specifically for close combat by making joints more mobile and including a combat knife. It was created and tested at the UNSC Beweglichrustungsysteme in Germany and in Songnam, Hanguk.

Variant: E.O.D.

Another variant of the Mark IV, this armor is designed for situations involving explosive materials, for example, defusing bombs or removing land mines. The modifications to the armor are designed to the limit damage to the wearer in a blast: The shape of the helmet better channels pressure waves, and the shoulder and chest plates have fewer grabbing edges. It was developed and tested on Chi Ceti 4 at the UNSC Damascus Material Testing Facility.

Other Name: Explosive Ordnance Disposal Armor

Variant: Scout

Developed at ONI's Ordnance testing facility B50 in Australia, Scout armor, like the R Variant, has advanced materials that give it stealth capabilities.

Other Name: Scout Armor

Project: Hayabusa

Designed separately from, but related to, the MJOLNIR Mark IV, the Hayabusa was designed for more heavy lifting vacuum-based warfare that its cousin. Except for its more Japanese inspired vis and armor, the Hayabusa features all of the capabilities of the Mark IV, but is slightly slower and less dexterous due to its design
specifications. Despite that, it is more than capable of powering any Spartan-II to victory on the battlefield.

Other Name: Samuri Suit

Helmet: Armor was dev in 2536 CE, sixteen years prior to the standard Mark IV variant.

Variant: E.V.A

Other Name: Extra Vehicular Activity Armor.

Helmet: Rounded helmet is nicknamed the "fishbowl"

Almost exactly the same as the Mark IV, the V Variant is designed specifically for vacuum-warfare. It has more rounded features and improved armor that self seals, securing its user from almost any punctures created by sharpnel. It was created at low gravity facility on the Jupiter moon of Ganymede.

Variant: Mark IV

The Mark IV was the basis for all the MJOLNIR designs. Eschewing the tank like appearance of the previous models, the Mark IV armor allowed for direct user control through a neural interface that connected directly with the wearer's spine. The Mark IV did not feature the later advancements of the MJOLNIR line-it still did not have energy shields or magnetic holders for grenades , and it had a very limited radar unit but it did feature a built-in fusion reactor that allowed for nearly unlimited movement. Rumors originating from the planet Ariel have claimed that there were more advanced prototypes of the Mark IV in the field, including architecture for energy shields and perhaps even in-suit technology, but such reports have not been confirmed by Oni.
